For the role of Senior IT Consultant for IT Infrastructure, we are looking for a team player who thrives in an innovative and dynamic working environment and is keen to shape and further develop our IT landscape.

What does the role involve?

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems for clients, servers, network infrastructure and firewalls
  • Administration and monitoring of Microsoft and Linux environments, including Active Directory/Entra and Microsoft 365
  • Administration and support of VMware vSphere environments, including virtualisation, operation and monitoring of virtual server infrastructures
  • Managing clients and mobile devices, including technical management (software deployment and MDM)
  • Administering the implemented security tools in accordance with best practices and the highest IT security standards
  • Providing user support for all enquiries relating to the IT infrastructure
  • Designing and implementing infrastructure projects in heterogeneous network environments
  • Advising on the system integration of services and applications within the company
  • Creating and maintaining system, operational and user documentation
  • Contributing to the definition of IT standards and policies
  • Identifying opportunities for optimisation and continuously improving our IT systems
  • Trainer and course leader for IT specialists in the field of system integration

We are looking for

  • A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with several years’ (senior) professional experience in the field of IT infrastructure
  • Excellent knowledge of the administration and support of Microsoft operating systems for servers and clients, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and network components (switches and firewalls)
  • Practical expertise in the areas of client and server virtualisation, networks, Microsoft 365, cloud applications, backup systems, as well as software deployment and patch management
  • A strong awareness of data protection and IT security
  • A strong service-oriented mindset, high levels of commitment, customer focus, team spirit and the ability to work independently
  • A reliable, structured and self-reliant approach to work
  • Motivation and interest in personal development, as well as a willingness to learn new IT technologies and to adapt to the medical-technical environment
  • Flexibility and a willingness to travel
  • Good command of English
